The device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and has a Quick Charge 3.0 technology, thanks to Qualcomm. The battery is a non-removable battery same as the new HTC One M10.
The only competition for the Xiaomi Mi5 is going to be the HTC One M10. The latter comes with the same screen size as the Xiaomi Mi5, but has higher resolution at 2560 x 1440 pixels along with 570ppi.
The Xiaomi Mi5 comes in two variants of the processor where the clock speed differs. One of the devices comes with a 1.6GHz plus a Kryo CPU, which is clocked at 1.6 GHZ and 4GB RAM whereas the other comes with Kyro CPU, which is clocked at 2.15GHz plus a Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and 3GB. The size of the RAM depends on the region in which the phone is available.
Talking about storage, the Xiaomi Mi5 supports internal memory of 128GB. The phone does not have a provision for an external storage slot option. The phone also comes in 32GB and 64GB variants.
The smartphone is expected to be available in various colors that includes black, gold and white, but presently the official website only shows the white option.
