Transformers 5: Akiva Goldsman Working On the Script, Michael Bay and Mark Wahlberg to Reunite, More Details

Transformers 5 will see Optimus Prime’s right hand, Ultra Magnus in action given that the former will be away from earth on a special mission for the first part of the movie. The movie is likely to be based in space.

Executive producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura had said that Transformers 5 will be based on Earth, but Deadline has reported that Akiva Goldsman and his team of writers are working on a story based in space.

The film will see the ultimate clash between the Optimus Prime and his autobots against the Quintessons and his Decepticons. According to Design and Trend the film will also deal with the history that villain Megatron shares with Ultra Magnus. The Quintessons were the creators of the Autobots and they have a long and dark history, which will be the focus of Transformers 5.

Given the popularity of Transformers, there are talks about spin-offs and crossovers with other successful movie universe. There are rumors that Transformers and G.I Joe might see the movie crossover. This news has not been officially confirmed.

  1. I am very excited about this upcoming film! I have been a fan of the Transformers since 1984, & I continue 2 follow the franchise. I am rooting 4 Michael bay & company 2 continue this epic SciFi adventure saga. Because there R so many story arcs & so much source material.
