The Witcher 3: Heart Of Stones DLC Released; New DLC Coming; Nominated For The Game Of The Year, And More

The list of nominees for the 2015 Game Awards has been declared and The Witcher 3 proudly leads the way in respect of nominations with a total of seven nominations to its name. The Witcher 3 is closely followed by Metal Gear Solid V: the Phantom Pain with a total of 5 nominations to its name.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been nominated in 7 categories which includes the category for Game of the Year. Other names competing for the Game of the Year award include Fallout 4, Bloodborne, Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain and Super Mario Maker.

The other categories in which The Witcher 3 has been nominated are- Best Narrative, Best Score/Soundtrack, Best Art Direction, Best Performance and Best Role Playing Game along with the nomination in the Developer of the Year category for the game’s developer CD Projekt RED.

A jury of 32 international media members including a representative from GameSpot chose the nominees for the different categories of awards. The eligibility criteria for the games to be considered for nomination required them to be released by November 24th.

The 2015 Game Awards is being produced by Geoff Keighley and will air on Thursday, December 3rd commencing from 6 PM PDT.
