The situation keeps getting messier for Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and his friends in Mystic Falls. After Caroline (Candice Accola) had turned off her humanity, Stefan (Paul Wesley) joins her, in an attempt to bring her out of it. The pair in their emotionless, bloodthirsty vampire mode is a major threat for the residents of Mystic Falls.
It is time for Damon to come into the scene and offer some help!
Damon is not willing to have his brother get in touch with his ripper self and is going to go to any length to stop that from happening. He knew that Caroline’s decision to turn off her humanity would be taking a huge toll on Stefan, and it looks like things are headed the way Damon had thought it would.
Even if the suspense and excitement in the Caroline and Stefan plot is exhilarating, it can get a little too much and fortunately Damon has a plan to change his elder brother and Caroline back to their human mode, but this requires some time travel.
After Caroline and Stefan have a fun emotionless night, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) comes to visit her and finds out that she had used Sarah as leverage to get Stefan. Meanwhile Stefan heads home to bring some weapons and is confronted by Damon, who tries to restrain him, but Stefan easily incapacitates him and leaves with the weapons
Damon is furious at himself for not being able to stop or restrain Stefan and unable to find a solution to help his mother out. On being confronted by Elena (Nina Dobrev), tells her about Caroline and Stefan having turned off their humanity. Elena convinces Damon to talk to Bonnie (Kat Graham), saying that she will have the clue to the solution.
Damon asks Bonnie for her magic blood to help rescue his mother Lily (Annie Wersching). Bonnie agrees to help reluctantly, but is furious when she finds out that Damon has plans to rope in Kai (Chris Wood). Fans know what a charmer Damon is, and so they were not very surprised when they see Bonnie meeting Kai at a diner.
