At the same time, Motorola Mobility was acquired by Lenovo this year, hence, it is possible that the images showcased, belonged to the next-generation Motorola Smartwatch. However, right now, the image suggests that Motorola is still making use of the old screens and we’ll just need to wait and see.
There are various other rumored specs for the Moto 360 like 4GB of built-in storage, an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and heart rate sensor, 512MB RAM along with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor. At the same time, the display resolution is expected to be 360×360 pixels.
In other news, Asus is currently preparing to launch the new Zenwatch 2 while Motorola gets ready to launch their newer upcoming variant of the Moto 360. We’ll just have to wait and see how they compete against each other. Reports further suggest that the new Zenwatch will come in a variety of color options like dark grey, rubber, steel, leather, rose gold along with one that is covered by Swarovski crystals.
