The features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 have been hinted by the recent released Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Samsung had already announced that people would get see amazing features in these two devices and the company hasn’t disappointed us at all.

According to the features present in these devices, the Galaxy S7 will probably have something more superior if not the same. The upcoming Galaxy S7 will definitely have a brilliant display. Galaxy Note 5 has already set an example and S7 is sure to follow the lead.

Based on the latest report by DisplayMate, Note 5 is presently the owner of the best possible display. On a sadder note, the S7 will definitely feature a non-removable battery. This has become a new trend for flagship devices all over the world and with the Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus; Samsung will no longer support a non-removable battery for their devices, similar to Apple iPhones.

The S7 will be available in a variety of colors like Gold Platinum, White Pearl, Silver Titan and Black Sapphire. Samsung has thought about people who like taking selfies and the S7 will come with a front camera no less than 5 megapixels.

The Galaxy Note 5 runs on Android 5.1.1 but when Galaxy S7 releases, it will debut with Google’s upcoming OS, Android M Marshmallow.  Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S7 will release early next year, possibly in March.

According to the latest reports suggested by the leaked documents from Samsung, the upcoming Galaxy S7 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and run on Android M. Reports indicate that the device has been codenamed ‘Jungfrau’. A new report speculates that the device is currently in the ‘middle testing’ stage of development and Tech Times reported the inclusion of the 820 processor as well.

Latinopost further indicates that Samsung has switched to the new ‘agile’ approach instead of the old ‘waterfall’ method which involved making the device from the ground up, one section of it at a time. With the newly adopted feature, Samsung will be able to separately construct various portions of the device and then unite them together.

Specification rumors suggest that the device will have a 5.5inch Super AMOLED display with 4K resolution and 5G network support in order to promote faster and better performance. Reports also indicate that the upcoming S7 display will make use of holographic technology. According to rumors, Galaxy S7 will have a 30MP rear camera and a 10 megapixel front camera.

The device will also include a new feature called ‘Gigapixel’ which allows the user to capture clearer images.  It will have 4GB of RAM and will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. Pricing rumors suggest that the 32GB variant will be priced around $999.

In the meantime, Google has officially announced its upcoming Android M Marshmallow OS. In case of Samsung, the company has already revealed which of its devices will be getting this upcoming update. Apple showcased iOS 9 in June at WMDC 2015 and it provided the world with the first look at its latest and most advanced mobile OS.

According to the major enhancements that have been provided by this company to the upcoming OS, battery life on smartphones can be extended by an hour. It will have a new ‘Low Power Mode’ which will extend the iPhone battery life by one hour. The latest operating system from Apple is presently in beta testing and it will be released in September along with the iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S.
