The Expendables 4: Star-Cast Rumored, Manny Pacquiao, Jackie Chan and Hulk Hogan to be a Part of the Fourth Installment, And More

The Expendables 3 was a tad disappointing at the Box Office due to a couple of reasons, including the film being leaked online a few days before it was supposed to hit the multiplexes across the globe and Jackie Chan’s exclusion from the star-studded cast. However, Sylvester Stallone, or Sly as he is popularly referred to, has assured the fans that the Asian superstar will be a part of the fourth installment of the movie.

The Expendables 4 is also rumored to include Hulk Hogan and Manny Pacquiao. Initial speculations suggest that the WWE Superstar has already signed the contract while Manny is yet to come on board. Chan, in a recently conducted interview, claimed that he was approached by Sly and the team, to be a part of the upcoming installment in the Expendables franchise.

“Sly wants me to be a part of The Expendables 4. I said ‘okay’ because they had asked me to be a part of The Expendables 2 and 3, and I refused. I didn’t actually refuse the offer, I said, ‘Sly, can’t we just do you and me, instead of including a bunch of people where I get to come out for only five minutes?” Chan revealed.

As far as Manny is concerned, both Sly and Arnold Schwarzenegger are huge fans of the Filipino boxer, who is currently gearing up for the bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr. On May 2nd. Both Sly and Arnold were reportedly spotted at Macau last year, incidentally during Manny’s fight against Chris Algieri.

Sly and Arnold reportedly visited the champion in the locker room and wished him luck and discussed the possibility of working on a movie together. According to numerous reports, the eight division boxing legend agreed to work on a film project soon!

The Expendables 3 earned a gross revenue totaling $206.2 million, on a production budget of $90 million, which incidentally is the lowest of the trilogy. The Expendables earned a total of $274.5 million, back in 2010, on a production budget of $80 million while The Expendables 3 earned $311.9 million back in 2012, on a production budget of $100 million.
