Tetsuya Nomura Reveals That Kingdom Hearts III Will Feature New Worlds!

It seems like Kingdom Hearts 3 is months or years away from its release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, during the annual Jump Fiesta held in Japan recently, game developer Square Enix has heightened the excitement and enthusiasm over it.

Jump Fiesta was held in Makuhari Messe on December 19 and 20 and is the annual manga and anime exposition of Japan. Square Enix, the famous Japanese game developer took this opportunity to showcase their latest gaming wares and the company also decided to provide fans with a glimpse of Kingdom Hearts 3 along with Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue as part of its compilation for PS4.

The official launching or rollout dates for both these games weren’t released but during the Q&A session, the company decided to share some information regarding the games, with their fans. Tetsuya Nomura, the game director, answered fan questions on behalf of Square Enix. One of the more interesting questions that Nomura was asked was regarding the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer opening scene.

It was featured during the E3 Expo held in Las Vegas, Nevada on the June of 2015. In the first scene, Eraqus and the Young Xehanort were seen talking and these scenes have been further expanded into separate trailers. Nomura was asked why they were presented in such a manner and he explained that while choosing the scene, versatility was the key consideration.

This was because it did not involve all the new worlds which were being built by the development team, for Kingdom Hearts 3. They had to further consider the timing in the creation of these new worlds and they wanted to discuss everything first with Disney. According to him, the first scene was highly effective in building up excitement regarding the game.

Moreover, he pointed out that fans should expect to see some changes when the final game rolls out since the scenes which were released on the trailer are not at all final products. According to Christian Post, these changes will be seen when the game comes out on consoles in the near future. All the earlier rumors and speculations on Kingdom Hearts 3 focused on the Disney worlds and the release dates to be integrated into the game.

However, the latest rumors regarding this game are focusing on the plotline or story arc of the title. According to the trailer released by Square Enix at the D23 Expo held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, the upcoming game will focus on the lost Keyblade masters who were mentioned in ancient texts.

The present quest of Micky and Riku is to locate the items with the ability to battle the darkness and the upcoming plot will focus on it. Xehanort is the main villain of Kingdom Hearts 3 video game series and he will be back in the third installment of the game. Due to this, gamers should expect a massive battle with the evil nemesis of the game.

The identities of 13 darkness and seven Knights mentioned in Kingdom Hearts 3D will be recapitulated in the closing credits. This is an effort by Square Enix to make sure that gamers can fully understand this game. It will further explain what Kingdom Hearts is and also the importance of this title.
