Suits Season 5 has already brought Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht and psychiatrist Dr. Paula Agard, played by Christina Cole, in the first episode of season 5.
But Agard is not the only character introduced this season, who promises to make this series an interesting one! Episode 2 of Season 5 will reportedly introduce Harvey’s new secretary and Louis Litt, played by Rick Hoffman.
Suits season 5 goes live on-air on Wednesday, 1st July. This season the viewers will get a glance of Harvey searching for Donna’s substitute while Louis and Donna establish a taut working relationship.
In last week’s episode Harvey, who was suffering from anxiety, was seen flushing all his pills since he knows that Donna will never come back to him. Hence, he tried to get over his anxieties.
Aaron Korsh, the creator of Suits said that Harvey’s deep-seeded matters are not going to improve so quickly.
The official outline for episode 2, named ‘COMPENSATION’, shows Harvey looking for Donna’s substitute. Korsh further revealed that Harvey will hire a new secretary named Gretchen, who he describes as “unforeseen”.
It seems that the creators have not yet decided on who’ll play Gretchen, so it won’t be very shocking if Gretchen is just another Norma, who was never physically present in the series but was mentioned innumerable times by her former boss, Louis.
Even though Gretchen’s character is entirely opposite to Donna’s, Harvey is hiring her as his secretary in response to loosing her. Harvey does not want another Donna in his life, as he does not want the same thing to happen to him twice.
Show maker Aaron Korsh said that the fans will eventually get to know the details about Harvey’s new secretary Gretchen. In Suits Season 5, the viewers will get to witness Donna and Louis’ professional relationship in detail.
However, it seems like their relationship is on the verge of extinction. Korsh further mentioned that the situation turns so bad that even the smallest argument can break their friendship at any point of time.
In the meantime, this week’s episode will also introduce a new character named Jack Soloff. Jack has been a part of the firm since its initial days, but we haven’t met him before. He is the Head of the Compensation Committee.
In this particular episode Jack uses his position to get control over the firm. Aaron Korsh has also revealed to a source that Jack Soloff plays a very important role in Suits Season 5.
Harvey will definitely rise to the occasion….
