Sara Will Die In Prison Break Season 5, Michael Scofield Alive, Purcell Lets Out The Scoop About His On-Set Accident!

It was Australian actor Dominic Purcell who revealed that the fans would be able to see Michael Scofield in Prison Break 5. While he made it very clear that Scofield didn’t die at the end of Season 4, he also didn’t clear the air on what exactly had taken place.

Purcell also threw light on the fact that he had to get his elbow stitched and get his broken nose repaired when suffered an accident during filming for Prison Break Season 5. Deadline reported that Purcell was hit on the head by an iron bar.

Design & Trend reported that while the majority of the characters are making a comeback in Prison Break Season 5, the fans will be heartbroken to know that William Fichtner isn’t going to be coming back to replay the role of Alexander Mahone.

Mahone was introduced in Prison Break Season 4 as an FBI agent who was the antagonist to the brothers, Michael, and Lincoln. Fichtner had a contract to be there for only two seasons, but he was convinced by Matt Olmstead, the producer of Prison Break, to be a part of Season 4 as well.

The finale of Prison Break saw Mahone becoming an ally of the brothers and refused to turn them and their crew in; even giving up the opportunity to return to the FBI.

Prison Break Season 5 is supposed to premiere on FOX in this fall.
