Samsung leaks never stop, they simply keep coming. Recently, rumored details about Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced have emerged. It doesn’t look like the device will be coming with any major upgrades or changes. It will have a 10.1 inch 1200×800 display along with 2GB of RAM and microSD card support up to 128GB.
The Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android Marshmallow and houses a 6800mAh battery. When Samsung released the Galaxy Tab 4 years back, such specifications would have been considered mid-range but in 2016, they are simply obsolete.
There is no exact pricing information released yet but it is expected that the device will cost around $380. We can hope that the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced isn’t as ‘advanced’ in pricing anymore.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced was recently spotted in a GFXBench test, sporting a 10.1-inch screen. The benchmark revealed that the new device’s model number is SM-T536. It has an octa-core processor under the hood and sports a 1200x800pixels display, running on 2 gigs of RAM. It is clear that this device won’t be getting any flagship-grade specs but at least, the Tab 4 Advanced will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The device will have an internal storage capacity of 32GB and it is further expandable via a microSD card. As mentioned before, the Tab 4 Advanced will have a 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras respectively.
The main camera will come with run-of-the-mill features like autofocus, flash and face detection. The Octa-Core SoC with 2 healthy gigabytes of RAM should be enough for your daily tasks.
Users might be able to click decent photos with the camera on this device. Some might consider the upcoming tablet’s specifications and features suitable for the mid-range market. In the meantime, similar to its predecessor, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced will not be available in all regions.
Till now, the only features that have been included in the reports are Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi along with Global Positioning System and accelerometer. Right now, fans are simply waiting for the company to announce this device and release the official details.
The benchmark report is yet to be confirmed by Samsung. Any statement regarding the development and upcoming release date of the device is yet to be released. Therefore, you need to wait for Samsung to confirm it officially before making any assumptions based on rumors.
According to phoneareana.com, Samsung just loves to keep products rolling, disregarding the kind of device and specifications that are craved by people. You will hardly ever find a Samsung tablet that meets such requirements. The South Korean tech giant has already unveiled a plethora of devices this year.
However, adding to that could be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced. This 10-inch tablet was recently spotted on the horizon. The device was spotted on GFXBench by Polish website Tablety. The slate will assimilate a moderate collection of internal goodness and the richness of Android Marshmallow.
The randomly released benchmarks should not be taken as gospel. However, that being said, great deals of GFXBench reports have turned out to be true.
Sadly, unlike many other powerful Samsung tablets, this one won’t be filled to the brim, with features and flagship specifications. Considering a generation which is engrossed with selfies, a 1.3 or a 2-megapixel camera for that matter, doesn’t sound too optimistic.
