Resident Evil 7 In Its Developmental Stages, Might Be Unveiled at The Upcoming E3 2016 Event, Will Go Back to Its Survival-Horror Roots!

It was reported that Capcom will enter into a full-scale offensive mode during the second half of the ongoing year. The company has already released two remakes of previous Resident Evil games in 2016 and it is known that two more remakes will be released within the ongoing year. Going by its “full-scale offensive” mode, fans might very well see the release of resident Evil 7 before 2016 comes to an end.

The game is long anticipated and fans have a lot of expectation from it. Resident Evil 6 was failed to live up to the expectations of fans and thus the developers of Resident Evil 7 have their task cut out for them. They will have to do something phenomenal with the game to once again lure back games to the resident Evil franchise.

Resident Evil started out as survival horror game but it later evolved into a third-person shooting game. A number of genres were included in the later games of the series. However, this time around, the game will reportedly return to its horror-survival roots. Apparently, Capcom is trying to win back gamers by re-incorporating the original essence of a Resident Evil game into Resident Evil 7.

A gameplay trailer of Resident Evil 7 might be dropped by Capcom at E3 2016. If indeed it is done, fans will be able to get an idea about what changes developers are bringing about in the game to once again take it back to the survival-horror genre.
