Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Being Developed Right Now, Why Wasn’t It Seen At E3? Let’s See

The last game in this series was released back in 2009, but it is believed that the sequel will release on 2017. Meanwhile, after witnessing the Xbox One conference and E3 showcase, gamers started thinking that either a GTA 5 Single-Player DLC or Red Dead Redemption 2 will make an appearance on the stage.

Reports suggested that due to the unfortunate events in Orlando at that time, the companies found it distasteful to proceed with it. A PlayStation Lifestyle journalist stated that the Red Dead reveal was replaced by the Days Gone demo featured at the end.

The rumor was rather interesting because Take-Two said that it would be at E3 in a big way but nothing that significant was seen from the company unless you are counting Mafia 3. Sony talked about rumors related to RDR 2 at the E3 show.

Adam Boyes, the VP of Third Party Relations, dispelled all such rumors through a Twitter post. He told a fan that this is not true. He cleared that the length and content that was shown was unchanged for months.

When Take-Two talked about their ‘big’ presence at E3, they were talking about Mafia III’s size on the show floor. It included a complete saloon-type façade setup, featuring palm-readers and a band.
