Pokemon Sun and Moon to Release in 2016, No Reports Confirming the Launch of Pokemon Z!

“Pokemon Black” and “Pokemon White” were succeeded by “Pokemon Black 2” and “Pokemon White 2” and “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” are yet to receive any confirmation regarding “Pokemon Z.” Similarly, the enhanced remake of Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire were not accompanied by a remake of Pokemon Emerald.

After releasing a new game, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo do not go back a generation and therefore, the likelihood of Pokemon Z releasing, decreases further.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will release a host of new Pokemon which will be added to the official PokeDex list. Therefore, the developers will not be given a reason to revisit an older game that comes with fewer features.

According to the latest speculation, the basis for making a Pokemon Z game is completely traditional. In the Kalos region that is Zygarde, the mysterious Legendary Pokemon will appear at a Terminus Cave. According to the PokeDex entry, “When the Kalos region’s ecosystem falls into disarray, it appears and reveals its secret power”. This is the only basis for Zygarde’s appearance in the game.

Stay tuned for more updates on Pokemon Z!
