In the beginning, players will get two different servers with one continent in each. It will allow the developers to test and record the performance and stability of their servers. The gamers will have access to various kinds of weapons, upgrades and vehicles. In the Closed Beta, they will be adding content and doing bug fixes. Furthermore, all the core gameplay mechanics contributing to an epic PlanetSide 2 experience will be present.
Players will have access to PlanetSide 2 official website’s Exclusive forum in order to interact with developers and post feedback. PSLS wished to know if some data from the Closed Beta will be carried over to the main game. Sadly, Clint responded that they intend to wipe all player data, at the end of Closed Beta phase. They have discussed the chances of rewarding Beta Players, but there is no concrete plan yet.
In other news, gamers who are interested in trying out the PlanetSide 2 PS4 Closed Beta will need to register their interest on PlanetSide 2 sign-up page.
