Meanwhile, the Moto X Sport will be launched soon and Motorola might decide to unveil a new Moto X flagship device as well. In the meantime, Nowhereelse.fr has acquired what appear to be 3D renderings of the 3rd Gen Moto G. These were made on behalf of an accessories manufacturer.
As expected, this manufacturer is silent at the time for obvious reasons. However, looking at these renders, it has become apparent that it shares some similarity with the upcoming Moto G. At the same time, if further looks like this device will come with a dual-tone design with a white and grey color scheme rather than just a single block color.
The front portion of this device looks similar with the exception of a front facing flash, which is positioned beside the front camera. Mobile Syrup got their hands on some dummy units for in-store display and it looks like the new Moto G will be water-resistant with an IPX7 waterproof rating.
This means that the device can be subjected to a depth of 1m under water for 30 minutes. If rumors prove to be true, the new device will also have 4G LTE that wasn’t included in the earlier Moto G 2nd generation when it launched back in 2014. Meanwhile, we might not get to see any fancy wood and leather finishes for the rear cover but this device will surely be a sensation.
Stay tuned for more updates on Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation!
