Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation Will Launch In July End or Early August with Reports Indicating A 13MP Camera And 4G LTE, And More Details

Right now, we’re just a few days away from the launch of Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation. The device has been featured in various leaks in the internet and thankfully, the leaks keep getting more revealing day by day. Recently, Swiss Retailer Digitec introduced a listing for the Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation.

After this leak was reported by German website Giga.de, it was immediately pulled down. At the same time, the leaks confirm some of the specs of this device that were released a few months back. According to the image, the device features a design that is more upscale over the previous generations.

This upcoming device will further come with a metallic looking insert down middle of the phone’s rear cover which is finely textured at the same time. Right now, only black and white variants of the Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation has been revealed so far.

However, according to eminent tipster @evleaks, Motorola will expand the customization program through Moto Maker, once it’s released commercially. Reports suggest specs like a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 5-inch Full-HD display, 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable and last but not the least, Cat 4.LTE.

Some of these revealed specs should be true but we can all expect that Motorola will continue with its tradition and introduce a mid-range device for a killer price in the market. In the meantime, the Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation has entered its testing phase.

This 3rd generation device is and its possible specifications are an incredibly hot topic on the internet right now. As the launch date draws closer, rumors and speculations regarding its features keep increasing.

The RAM War has started with Asus Zenfone 2 drawing first blood with its 4GB behemoth. Right now, people are wondering how much RAM will Motorola decide to include in the G 3rd generation. Earlier, there were reports that it might have 1GB of RAM but recent reports suggest that a 2GB RAM will be included. Indian import/export website Zauba has indicated something similar to this report.

The latest batch of information suggests that around 190 units have entered the country for testing purposes. Reports indicate that half of these units are white while the other half is black. According to the listing, the smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM.

According to several reports and inside sources, the unit price of these prototype devices is around INR 15,200, which is equivalent to $240. The black variants are possibly cheaper than the white. Of course, these are all rumors and the figures shouldn’t be that high considering the $180 price tag of its predecessor.

Meanwhile, rumors further suggest that the Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation will have a 13 megapixel rear camera, which is quite an upgrade, compared to the 8megapixel rear camera in its predecessor.

As a result, when this device launches in August, we’ll witness some major improvements. Right now, a report from Android Syrup indicates that this phone will be a water-proof device. The camera will feature dual-LED flash and a 2470mAh battery.

Reports indicate that we might not need to wait till August in order to experience the Motorola Moto G 3rd generation. Motorola has already sent out press invites for the upcoming event. We wouldn’t be really surprised if Motorola ultimately launches the Moto G at the end of this month.
