According to the latest reports, GoPro has shipped half a million units of the Hero 4 Session all around the world. Meanwhile, the Hero 4 Black and the Hero 4 Silver will remain on the company’s product catalog as well.
The next big announcement from GoPro suggests that its upcoming flagship, the Hero 5 will be releasing this year. Woodman further suggested that this new camera will be the company’s most connected and convenient model yet.
He further said, “GoPro, as we have known it today has resonated with our core customer, who wants the solution so badly that they are willing to deal with the inconvenience of manually offloading and accessing and editing their content.
But we are self-aware and we’re willing to acknowledge that experience is too difficult for the mass market consumer, today.” Meanwhile, GoPro Karma drone and the GoPro Omni virtual reality camera rig will be released during summer this year.
Therefore, the latest reports suggest that fans that are waiting for the upcoming Hero 5 might have to wait a little more. However, when it finally releases, this device will be definitely worth the wait.
