Google Nexus 7 2016 Likely to Arrive with Android N, Could Be Developed by Huawei, A Look at Some of the Rumored Specs!

Rumors also have it that the GPU included in the device will be much advanced compared to the ones found in its predecessors. The device will be capable of running high-end games and playing back high-quality videos with ease.

The notification system on the device will also get an overhaul. It will become more efficient and less battery consuming. The Nexus 7 will most likely be compatible with the Daydream VR platform from Google itself.

No news regarding the company that is going to manufacture the device is available as of yet, However, two names that are currently being thrown around in this regard are HTC and Huawei.

The Nexus 6P was manufactured by Huawei and during its launch, Charlene Munilall, the General Manager for Consumer Business Group for Huawei in South Africa stated that another phone will be developed by the company within the ongoing year.

The Nexus 9 was developed by HTC and it was recently removed by Google from its official online store. This sparked off speculations that Google is gearing up to roll out a brand new Nexus device in the market. However, there has been no confirmation in this regard.

Details regarding the price tag with which the device will arrive is not known yet. However, it is likely to arrive with a price tag which will hover around the £199 mark.
