Fox Rocky Horror Reboot to Feature Adam Lambert, Plays Tribute to David Bowie, Will Be Coming to the Ruth Eckerd Hall, And More

According to official reports, Adam Lambert is joining Rocky Horror Picture Show reboot of Fox. The former American Idol and Grammy nominated singer has recently signed onto the network’s event movie remaking the midnight movie musical of 1975.

Lambert will play the character of Eddie. He is a rock-and-roll loving ex-delivery boy and he emerges at emerges at Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s on a motorcycle, crashing the party.

According to Lambert, he grew up watching Rocky Horror but he could never imagine that he would get to become a part of the new vision. With Rocky Horror, he always felt like it was okay for him to celebrate the weirdness.

He declared, “Hallelujah, bless my soul!  I love that old time rock-n-roll!” In reality, Lambert was one of the actors being considered for the Frank-N-Furter role quite a few months back but it was eventually granted to Lavrene Cox of Orange is the New Black. The two hour show Rocky Horror will air during this fall.

Meanwhile, Adam Lambert + Queen have been crowned winners of the SSE Live Awards at The SSE Arena in Wembley. The awards have been running since October and this provided fans with a chance to vote for their favorite act which they have seen perform at Wembley during 2015, in The SSE Arena. The SSE Live Awards received a total of 661,000 votes and proved to be highly popular.

However, Queen + Lambert came out as the final winners, enjoying an outstanding 299,000 votes. Moreover, it represented a major 45% of the total vote. Brian May from Queen said, “WOW. Nice. Well. BIG THANKS SSE Folks … for a wonderful compliment. We’re very proud to be your favourite act of last year – by a huge majority. Humbled, grateful and definitely up for a rematch!”

Roger Taylor, the Queen drummer declared that he felt fantastic that his band has made so many people happy before excitedly adding, “….300,000 thanks!” Adam Lambert said that it was a great honor for him to play Wembley with Queen and declared that he was beyond humbled with the entire thing!

Meanwhile, fans could vote for the best act they had seen at The SSE Arena, Wembley in 2015 by logging into www.ssereward.com. According to voters, the top 5 acts were:-

  4. Gurdas Maan
  5. The Janoskians

Paolo Nutini won the very first SSE Live Award, awarded to the best act at Glasgow’s The SSE Hydro. At The SSE Scottish Music Awards in November last year, he accepted the accolade in person.

Meanwhile, the multi-selling Grammy nominated recording artist Adam Lambert is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on 14th March 2016 since he is back on his road for the highly anticipated The Original High Tour. He is fresh off his recent world tour with Queen and from the reports; Lambert is getting geared up for his best stage show yet.

He will treat fans to some of the biggest hits and they include Whataya Want From Me, Better Then I Know Myself, For Your Entertainment and Ghost Town.

Meanwhile, the tickets will go on sale from 16th January, Saturday, priced at $125, $65, $40 and $55. The $125 Dinner Package comes with a premium seat, pre-show dinner along with a voucher for free valet parking.

15 minutes before the pre-show dinner doors open, the valet service will begin. The artist will not appear during dinner.
