Supernatural Season 11: Photos Reveal Dean and Sam End Up in Lucifer’s Cage, Fans Question Amara’s Fate!

Come January 20th and all your queries regarding Supernatural Season 11 will be answered. The trailer for the upcoming season had completely confused the fans and they are wondering what’s happening in the series.

The wait is finally over and the fate of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and the reason for Crowley (Mark Sheppard) will be revealed.

The midseason finale of Supernatural Season 11 ended with Sam getting caught in Lucifer’s (Mark Pellegrino) cage. Now with Sam under his control, Lucifer confesses that he was the one who was sending those visions to Sam after Darkness/ Amara (Emily Swallow) came down to Earth.

Sam felt that he was receiving messages from God and had gone in search of Lucifer to get some answers, but he is in for a shock when he realizes that he was being played on by Lucifer.

Dean (Jensen Ackles) on the other hand has no idea that Sam is in such a deep mess. He knows that Sam will not go to Hell until he returns and hence takes his time to have a huge faceoff with Amara.

There are a number of photos from the set that reveal that Dean and Castiel (Misha Collins) will be heading to confront Lucifer and will end up inside his cage.

This seems like a rather weird thing since viewers expected that Dean and Castiel will try to help Sam out from the outside of the cage. With Dean and Sam both inside Lucifer’s cage, the devil has the upper-hand and is likely to use one of the brothers to threaten another.

Fans are hopeful that the Winchester brothers can make a deal with Lucifer where they can come out of the cage with Lucifer still in it. If Lucifer comes out things are going to get very messy.

Crowley and Rowena (Ruth Connell) are never going to be of any help to the Winchester brothers, but since Crowley is loyal to Dean he tries to keep his mother back by chaining his mother.

Crowley might not be trustworthy at all, but there is no way that he will let Lucifer out of the cage. He couldn’t help the fact that Sam got sucked into that cage, but he will make sure that Lucifer doesn’t come out of it.

The trailer with its festive air didn’t quite make sense to the fans since given the manner in which the midseason finale of Supernatural Season 11 ended, fans expected a trailer that will hint at the dark possibilities ahead when the midseason premiere returns.

While the trailer didn’t do that, fans will be happy to know that the photos from the sets hint at a very exciting midseason premiere.

However, the Christmas dream still doesn’t make any sense. The trailer showed Crowley opening presents in his onesie and Lucifer delivering gifts dressed as Santa Claus. Fans are still trying to figure out what the Christmas dream was all about and Christian Post has asked the fans to not take the trailer very lightly.

The fans shouldn’t be too focused on the literal meaning of the trailer for Supernatural Season 11, but should try to see the inner meaning in it. It looks like the trailer for the midseason premiere of Supernatural Season 11 is a way to show that Lucifer is going to control the minds of all the characters just as he was doing with Sam since the beginning of the season.
