Destiny to Receive Updated Content in The Future, Players with Slow Internet Connection Might Be Banned from The Game, And More

Destiny is an online first person shooting video game that has been developed by Bungie. It was published by Activision back in 2014 for the platforms of PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The latest reports regarding this game suggest that it is set to receive a brand new expansion pack in the future. This new DLC will reportedly be titled- Rise of Iron. The news comes via Reddit where a promotional poster for the next expansion pack has been posted.

On the poster the words Rise of Iron can be seen just below the title of the game. This has given confirmation to the fact that it will be called Rise of Iron. It has also been reported that an announcement for the expansion pack will be made during the Electronic Entertainment Expo event which is scheduled for the next month.

Apparently, a “twist on Fallen” will be the basic plot of the expansion pack. It has also been reported that the developers had initially decided to roll out the expansion pack in the month of April. However, they decided from postpone the release date of the Rise of Iron DLC due to some reasons.

Eric Heisenberg, the publishing executive at Activision recently stated that the company is well aware of the fact that fans are always on the lookout for new content for Destiny. It is for this reason; Activision will be working in collaboration with Bungie to keep developing new content for the game.

He added that the developers will be rolling out more content for the game on a regular basis in the future. He also did not forget to mention about the passion that fans had for the game and it was something that they value a lot and never take for granted.

David Dague, the community manager of the game took to social media to drop hints that new content for the game will be arriving later this year. He added that the developers are currently working on the development of new content for the game and he was very excited about it.

In his own words- “Hopefully, the ramp up to the April Update served up some proof that we love speaking at length about new Destiny content, once it arrives at its final form. Later on this summer, we’ll show you the scope, scale, and flavor for the next challenge you’ll face.”

In other news, it has come to light that a glitch in the game is reportedly allowing gamers to acquire unlimited amounts of ammo for heavy weapons like the rocket launcher. Apparently, the issue is causing misbalance in the game as the players who are able to take advantage of the glitch are able to just obliterate their enemies with heavy weapons.

This forced the developers to put a hold to the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris events which were supposed to take place during the previous weekend.

Dague took to social media to address the issue and he stated that the crates that contain the ammos for heavy weaponry are delivered within a limit so that when players obtain them, they can take advantage of the heavy weapons and create a highlight for the match by doing something explosive.

It has also been confirmed that the developers are already aware of the matter and they are currently investigating the code of the game to locate the error that is causing this glitch. Fans have been asked to remain calm for the time being and it was stated that the developers would soon come forward with a solution for the matter.
