Destiny 2: Rumored to Be Titled “The Shattered Suns”, Release Date Pushed Back, President of Bungie Steps Down!

The Sparrow Race could be made a permanent feature with Destiny 2 as it has managed to gain immense popularity among fans.

In other news, the title of the upcoming game was reportedly leaked by a Reddit user by the name of formemerald. The leak stated that the game will be called Destiny 2- The Shattered Suns. This post was initially deleted but was reposted by another Reddit user, The_Schnitz.

The leak further claimed that the game’s location will be primarily focused on Planet Mercury. Osiris will be the main quest giver of the game and it might feature a new type of enemy that is currently being developed by the developers. There is a chance that this new type of enemy is Ahamkara.

Various reports also suggest that the characters of the original game will be transferable to Destiny 2 by players.

Another leaked document claimed that the original Destiny game was planned for a 2013 release and its sequel was supposed to hit the market in 2015. However, a delay in the release of Destiny disrupted the whole schedule for Bungie and Destiny 2’s release date was pushed back to September 2016, which is now being farther pushed back as stated above.
