Suits Season 5 will also pick up the relationship between Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) from right after their engagement. Mike had asked Rachel’s hand in marriage and she had readily accepted. The two are very much in love, but things look too good to be true!
Korsh has informed that fans shouldn’t expect a smooth wedding planning session this season. There is going to be drama; drama that will shake the very core of Mike and Rachel’s relationship. Rachel’s father Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) will enter a legal battle with Mike and this is going to strain the relationship between him and Rachel.
This season will see the firm continuing the effort to walk together. Mike’s fraudulent past had shaken them up in the last season and Suits Season 5 struggling under Donna’s decision of working for Louis.
No one said it’s going to be easy, but we know things will work out. Aaron Korsh will write the first five episodes of Suits Season 5 while Anton Cropper will be directing it.
Tune in to the first instalment of Suits Season 5 on June 29th. The first episode will focus on the consequences of the professional break up between Harvey Spectre and Donna.
