Lastly, new control schemes have been added as well. You will notice the presence of new controller schemes in the settings menu. Meanwhile, the default control scheme has also been updated. The changes include:
- Ability: L1
- Grenade: L1+R1
- Spot: R1
- Melee: R3
Furthermore, the sensitivity settings have been broken out in response to a control type. The new sliders include Turret, Infantry, Driver, Flight, and Aimed. The closed beta on the new-generation consoles is set to start on 25th March, Wednesday in Europe. The users can register their interest on the sign-up page of the MMO first-person shooter. People who are chosen are being sent a redeem code through e-mail.
The specific code can be entered on the PlayStation Store. The PS4 version of the game is being described as a reimagining of the actual massively multiplayer shooter, PlanetSide. According to Daybreak game company, they will be using the beta period to test performance, servers along with many other aspects of the game. Developer Andy Sites explained on the official PlayStation blog that they cannot wait to introduce the game and mentioned the 25th March release date as well.
