Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation Will Feature Siri, People Hoping For Fall 2015 Launch, And More

However, there hasn’t been an official announcement from Apple that backs up this statement. When the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation prices started dropping last year, rumors regarding the 6th generation became quite rampant. The major basis of these rumors was due to the reduction in prices. Even then, Tim Cook failed to make any mention of the fabled device during the first 2015 quarterly financial call in February.

Regarding all the major speculations, there is not really any official information available at this point. However, the prices are rumored to range from $250-$300. It has been speculated that the device will come with 32GB and 64GB internal storage capacity variants. It will come in colors like that of space grey, pink, silver or red. Meanwhile, the device will also come with a 8-megapixel camera.

There are many people who still own the Apple iPod Touch 4th generation and did not upgrade to the fifth. These users have decided to upgrade to the sixth generation device once it is released.  What are your thoughts regarding the release of the 6th generation of this device? Do you think it will be a superior device with similar capabilities like that of the rumored iPhone 6S/7? Let us know in the comments section below. Stay tuned for more updates on this topic.

  1. Believe it or not, I still have the Gen 1 ipod and use it daily. I for sure am awaiting the Gen 6 release.

  2. I still love my 4th gen iPod. Last year when I totaled my last 4th genone, I decided to stick with the 4th gen line to stay away from iOS 7’s ugly UIand, have bulletproof reliability! I ended up going from a. 32gb 4th gen to a 64gb 4th gen.

Now, if a new iPod Touch 6th Gen were to be released, I’d probably upgrade to a 5.6 inch 64/128gb and see how I like it. If I don’t, I’d give it to charity and no matter what, I’ll still retain my legendary 4th gen!
