It was declared by Andreas Hofmann, Software Developer at ESL that integrating Mortal Kombat X into their online infrastructure is one of the many things that they have been working on.

They finally turned it into reality while working with NetherRealm Studios. He further stated that players had to struggle earlier with many devices and after that, submit their results manually.

However, with ESL’s competitive solution, you will be impeccably paired to an opponent who is connected to Xbox Live Servers. Furthermore, it will automatically upload the match results to ESL Play Website.

There were a lot of wonderful Match-Ups at ESL MKX Pro League Season 1 according to Ed Boon and he further said that the team at NetherRealm Studios is delighted to be working with them for the second season. It would be a treat to notice how the competition turns out.

  1. At least the Drahmin and Havik tweet thing can be totally discounted. Ed Boon has said several times that he absolutely hates Drahmin and regrets making him. He even made a point of pre-emptively killing off Drahmin and Havik in their pre-launch comic.
