Maddie Ziegler and her sister Mackenzie, had left Dance Moms at the end of Season 6. Episode 20 of Dance Moms saw Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, Brynn Rumfallo, JoJo Siwa and Nia Frazer saying goodbye to the sisters. The mothers of the dancers also bid goodbye to Melissa Gisoni. It was Melissa, who took the decision to make her daughters leave the show.
Maddie Ziegler had other commitments and hence she couldn’t give much time to Dance Moms. However, Mackenzie was removed by Gisoni because she wasn’t ready for the way in which Abby Lee Miller, the coach of ALDC, had been treating her younger daughter.
Abby Lee Miller had given Mackenzie an acrobatic routine in spite of knowing that she is amazing when it comes to hip-hop. Mackenzie had felt that her coach’s decision was a wrong one and had challenged it. She went on to learn a hip-hop routine from another trainer and won the competition, defeating Brynn Rumfallo whom Miller had assigned for hip-hop.
Fashion n Style has reported that Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler might have left Dance Moms, but they are very much a part of Abby Lee Dance Company and have been performing with the team. Abby Lee Miller had herself tweeted that Maddie Ziegler was still competing for ALDC, but not in the elite group. She even shared a photo of Maddie Ziegler performing in a recent competition in Pittsburgh.
Abby Lee Miller had been very cold with Melissa Gisoni after she announced her decision to leave the show with her daughters. Gisoni had said that she didn’t want to ruin her daughters’ career and hence was leaving the show. She had even mentioned that Miller was not competent enough to be a coach.
Abby Lee Miller hadn’t been very close to Maddie Ziegler ever since the teenager decided to focus on her acting career. She said that Melissa Gisoni’s decision to leave the show along with her two daughters was rather odd and she knows the truth behind it, no matter what they might be telling the media.
The whole group of Dance Moms was sad to see Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie and Melissa Gisoni leave the show. The girls had been together ever since Season 1. Even though they joked about getting more opportunities to win competitions since Maddie Ziegler wouldn’t be around anymore, they did add that they will miss the sisters a lot.
Even newcomer, Brynn Rumfallo broke down and told Mackenzie that she will miss her a lot and doesn’t know what she will do without her. The episode also saw Todrick Hall come in to bid goodbye to the Ziegler sisters.
Chloe Lukasiak had been a star dancer of ALDC and had been a part of the Abby Lee Dance Company ever since her childhood days, until she left the dance company to move to another troupe.
Chloe Lukasiak has been made a part of Cowgirl’s Story, which will be produced by Bailee Madison. Deadline has reported that Chloe Lukasiak is going to play the role of Savanah Stocker in the drama that has been inspired by Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women.
Lukasiak’s character is a goth who gets into a tiff with Bailee Madison’s Dusty Rhodes. Savanah and Dusty start off on the wrong foot, but overtime, they become friends and stand by each other. The family drama shows high school cowgirls trying to look after their homes while their parents leave for duty in Afghanistan.
After watching Maddie and Mackenzie’s last performance on Monday, it will be the last season I watch. How can a woman (Abby), treat children she has taught from the age of three with such disdain and dismissal attitude. How can she say you might go on to better things you may not we’ll see. They have both forged our careers for themselves and have moved on from being competition children. Not to even say goodbye and make their last week and competition special shows that Abby, (who until this series I respected as a teacher), is jealous of the success of two little girls. If Kendall and Nia have any sense, especially Nia, the last of the little girls we fell in love with, they will run before Abby’s court case hits the headlines. The original concept was a dance studio from a small town in Pittsburgh who had danced with Abby since they were three and were not only team colleagues but were friends, as were their mother’s. The concept has gone, Abby is hand picking her new minis from all over the country, not the same! Please pull the shutters down on this programme now.
