There is also a high chance of the device sporting the deca-core MediaTekHelio X20, although, the final report can be revealed only post launch. The Mi5 is also rumored to possess a 16 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization.

Xiaomi is keen on introducing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip into the Mi5 since the current-generation Snapdragon 810 chip tends to overheat. The 820 could be Xiaomi’s processor of choice for a range of upcoming smartphones since the 820 is a capable processor from all fields.
