The Xiaomi Mi5 has a bigger screen and a higher resolution display than the Apple iPhone 6S. At the same time, it is practically same in size. The Mi 5 is lighter, owing to the fact that it is tailored to the Chinese market. It has a pair of Nano-SIM card slots as well. Meanwhile, fingerprints and dust is quite a nuisance on the black Mi 5 as it is on the Samsung Galaxy S line.
The rear of the Mi 5 is also slippery and this causes the phone to slide off flat surfaces. The buttons are located on the right places and overall, it is not too difficult to hold the phone comfortably. In terms of price, the Mi5 is quite similar to the $249 OnePlus X but the former pulls ahead admirably in the specs department.
The Snapdragon 820 processor on the Mi5 is light years ahead of the Snapdragon 801 on the X. The 820 delivers great performance and this makes the device capable of playing any game or performing any heavy processing task with ease.
Xiaomi is turning into the biggest competitor of Apple in China and the newly released Mi 5 bridges the gap further. In case you are not aware yet, the Mi 5 recently scored 179,556 on AnTuTu.
