WWE 2K16: Check Out the New Features in MyCAREER Mode, ECW Announcer Joey Styles Decides to be a Guest Announcer, And More News

In other news, Joey Styles, the ECW announcer has been confirmed as a guest announcer in 2K’s upcoming wrestling video game, WWE 2K16. He is the present vice president of digital media content in WWE.

He is highly popular for his inimitable high-pitched catchphrases of ‘Oh my God!’ and ‘Catfight!’ which are a part of his commentary and his tenure as the voice of cult ’90s indie promotion ECW. A video message was posted on WWE 2K Dev YouTube channel where Styles reportedly confirmed that he will provide his voice to this year’s 2K Showcase mode.

It will be focused on the career of the legendary WWE Superstar ‘Stone Cold Steve Austin’. The veteran will churn out the action-packed commentary during the Steve Austin and Mikey Whipwreck match at the ECW arena, recreated from the 1995 classic.

Meanwhile, what we have grasped so far is that while you progress towards a WWE Hall of Fame-worthy career, there will be a major checklist of milestones that will build towards the Hall of Fame resume.

It will depend upon whether you have a WWE title that reigns for a year. Furthermore, will you be able to hold every title that is available to the WWE Superstars and whether you can have the perfect WrestleMania record throughout your 2K16 career.

Stay tuned for more updates on WWE 2K16!
