Various Tips, Tricks, Strategies and Skills for Clash of Clans, How to Conquer the Game?

Clash of Clans is a strategy type of game where you need to build your village and fill it with various defenses, resources, storages and heroes and then upgrade them continuously. While doing that, you need to collect resources which are necessary for the upgrade by attacking other villages from all around the world.

At the same time, you need to protect your village from similar attacks. Keep in mind that it will take you a lot of time to reach the end-game in Clash of Clans and we mean years in case you aren’t planning to spend a lot of money on it, which most don’t. Hence, if you want something faster, Clash of Clans is not the best mobile game for you.

However, in case you like games that deal with strategy and war tactics, it should be right up your alley. There are some important things that you should keep in mind when just starting it. Firstly, there are many different kinds of troops that you can train in Clash of Clans. You will need to understand the advantages and disadvantages of every troop.

For example, archers are quite light-weight and usually one blow from a mortar kills them. On the other hand, giants are quite tanky but they deal very light damage and are extremely slow. On the other hand, barbarians are great as they can bring down huge buildings when released in a group and they have pretty decent health.

However, they are just melee and you’ll need to clear a path for them in order to attack internal structures. If you have played the game in the past and are returning to it again, there are certain changes that you should know about.

One of the newest features is the inclusion of dark spells and a dark spell factory. There are four kinds of dark spells and you can unlock two of them in Town Hall 8. These are Poison Spell and Earthquake Spell. The other remaining dark spell is the Haste Spell, which makes you wonder why use the Rage Spell at all.

If you are starting Clash of Clans, you will probably have to attack using archers and barbarians. They troops cost low resources and are great for your everyday usage, especially in the lower levels. Don’t bother using wizards and balloons in the lower levels.

I currently am at the end of a Town Hall 8 village and I still use archers, barbarians, giants and wall-breakers for my raids along with two healing spell with a rather handy poison spell.

However, once you upgrade structures and climb the ladders, you will start facing harder and tougher to crack bases. If you want to raid these kinds of villages, you’ll need to step up your game and understand the mechanism properly.

In case you are returning to this game after a long time, keep in mind that the Lightning Spell can no longer be used to loot bases. Drop lightning spells on elixir, gold or dark elixir resources and a protective shield develops around them.

It hinders any effect of lightning, thereby rendering it useless. In brief, storages will no longer be affected by spells. However, on a happier note, the training time and cost of spells have been reduced. For example, the times for brewing lightning and healing spells have been reduced to 20 minutes.

There are many clashers out there who tend to disregard the collectors and mines. Keep in mind that these are extremely useful in the long run and especially in the early beginning. While it’s great to upgrade your defenses, you need to pay attention to your resource collectors as well. The Dark Elixir Drills are the most important collectors you need to upgrade in case you are finding it difficult to loot them from enemy villages.
