If they choose to ignore them and decide to release Half-Life 3, it would mean that they are not taking the advice too seriously. If the situation needs to be rectified, Valve will need to combine Portal 3 and Half-Life 3 into one single game.

Sadly, an official confirmation on the release date is still absent. Due to which fans and gamers have resorted to rumors and speculations surfacing the internet. Meanwhile, after Gabe Newell debunked all rumors and expectations involving Half-Life 3 last month, there has been another sighting of the infamous game logo, which has further re-ignited them.
A recent article by Christian Today reports that the logo of Half-Life 3 was seen on the Valve-owned Steam website. It could simply be a glitch in the system, but eager, desperate and helpless fans are considering this sighting to be a sign that Half-Life 3 is finally under development.

This game should be vr friendly! It needs to be but so does a remake of portal 1 and 2 to be vr to, to make it feel more than you just watchiong a computer/tv screen but feeling like your actually there.
I agree, I’m wondering where the portal 3 teaser trailer was developed. After seeing it I would have thought that it would be coming out as a game of it’s own. I guess combining them would be better than nothing. Unless you play as someone other than Chel, there would have to be a reason for her to go back. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
They probably already have a beta being tested. We won’t see it until the Steam Consoles hit the Market this November.
