Transformers 5: Akiva Goldsman Joins Michael Bay, Bumblebee Ready For ‘Stand-Alone’ Film, And More

The Transformers: Age of Extinction was a huge success. Paramount Pictures is all set to create Transformers 5 and make the sequel bigger and better. The fifth installment of the Transformers is all set to release in 2017.

Paramount Pictures has created a new writing team to give Optimus Prime’s journey a new life. Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar award winning writer and producer is going to lead this new team of writers for Transformers 5.

The list of writers and creative heads who are going to be a part of this team that Akiva Goldsman will lead, is making fans of the Transformers franchise super happy. They know that with Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead, Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, the two people responsible for the quirky script of Iron Man and Jeff Pinkner of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 fame involved in Transformers 5, there’s no way that the film is going to be anything short of brilliant!

The list doesn’t wait here. The creative team of writers will also see X-Men, The Incredible Hulk and The Last Stand writer Zak Penn along with Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer, who are responsible for rewriting Ant-Man for Marvel.

This incredible team will not only write the script for Transformers 2, but also the other spin offs from the franchise that are being planned by Paramount Pictures.

The chief executive of Hasbro, Brian Goldner has hinted that Autobot Bumblebee might get his very own movie. The American toy and media company has been closely associated with Paramount Pictures in creating the merchandise related to the Transformers franchise and this report has excited the fans.

Autobot Bumblebee, the yellow coloured Camaro is a beloved character and Paramount is thinking of focusing on a stand-alone movie with him in the lead given that the character enjoys a huge fan following among little kids.
