The update 1.2 updates the server tick for PC users. The player position will be changed to 60 times per second as opposed to the original 30 times per second. This has been done with the aim of improving overall player positioning and shooting capabilities.
The Matchmaking section will also be enhanced through the update. PVP matches will get a quality overhaul and opponents will be more evenly matched. The skill criterion which originates from the player’s region will become even more precise after the update.
A brand new criteria that will be added through the update will improve the chances of pre-made parties getting matched against another squad which contains the same number of pre-made parties.
The connectivity of PVP and PVE matches will also be improved through the update. The estimated waiting time that will be shown to players in the lobby will become more accurate. Players using same data center will be matched for PVP and PVE matches which will make sure that both the players get a better ping.
Some of the bugs and errors related to the community will also be addressed by the patch. Apart from these improvements and tweaks, the patch will bring various gameplay fixes, level design fixes, online flow fixes, UI fixes and audio fixes.
