Thor Ragnarok Will Lay Down the Foundation for Avengers: Infinity War, Jaimie Alexander Likely to Return as Lady Sif!

Thor Ragnarok is the upcoming film which may set the foundation for the upcoming two-part Avengers: Infinity War. However, we might witness the death of Chris Hemsworth in this movie.

At the same time, the character could be resurrected in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Movie Pilot reports that the upcoming film will follow the events of the preceding Avengers: Age of Ultron film.

It will further set the pace and story for the upcoming Infinity War movies. In Age of Ultron, Thor looked like was determined to find all of the Infinity Stones before Thanos gets his hand on all of them and complete his Infinity Gauntlet.

It was further suggested that this mission would gradually push Thor towards a face-off with Thanos along with his half-brother Loki as well. Official plot details remain scarce but it has been assumed that both Thanos and Loki will be the biggest threats in the movie.

According to a report from Games Radar, Marvel’s Kevin Feige reported that the third installment in the Thor series will be bigger and better than all previous releases. According to Feige, it is a very important movie for them in Phase 3. They have planned on taking Thor to a whole new level.

The movie will pick up from where Thor was left in the Avengers and it will impact everything that comes after. According to some strong speculations, one of the most critical aspects of this film will be the death of Thor.

At the same time, it is highly likely that the God of Thunder will be resurrected in the upcoming movies of Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Independent, it was admitted by Hemsworth that he would prefer to focus on different projects later in his career. He said, “I definitely I have a yearning for something contemporary and real and simpler.

That would be the focus.” While admitting that getting back to his role of Thor rattles his nerves, he further said, “I still get a little bit nervous… I used to suffer from it quite badly when I first started out. It’s still there now but I sort of acknowledge it differently.

I just accept that it’s going to be there and use the anxiety as a motivator… Luckily, we have a script a lot earlier than I had on either of the first two films.” Thor Ragnarok will be released on 3rd November 2017 and it will feature the return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor.

After Thor: The Dark World, we can all admit that it was the weakest of Marvel’s Phase Two films in spite of the typically fun back and forth between Thor and Loki. Marvel clearly knows that they need a shake-up in order to give Thor the classic movie he truly deserves.

Although both Thor movies are fun, they are nowhere near to the best films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige has already declared that the upcoming movie will not be a typical sequel. It will be completely different from the two earlier Thor movies, similar to how Winter Soldier is different from the first Captain America film.

Feige admitted that they wish to take it to new levels. They have characters that will showcase how big they are going on this! The rest of the Marvel Universe will be beating up each other in Civil War but Thor and Hulk will be doing something else entirely, during that time.

Taika Waititi will be the director of Thor Ragnarok and is best known for New-Zealand based movies like Eagle vs. Shark and horror mockumentary What We Do in The Shadows.
