Thor 3: Ragnarok Might Be the End for Thor and Loki, Renner Backs Out!

This move might be Marvel’s attempt at salvaging a doomed series. Fans are, however, not pleased since they want to see the Hemsworth-Hiddleston tandem.

In other news related to Thor 3, Jeremy Renner, who was supposed to reprise his role of Hawk Eye in the film has backed out. It is believed that with Phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe coming up, Hawk Eye had his plate full and in order to avoid clashing of dates, Renner had to back out of the film.

Renner decided to star in Captain America: Civil War instead of Thor 3. This has disappointed a few fans since his character was first introduced in Thor. However, it makes more sense for Hawk Eye’s character to feature in Captain America: Civil War as it deals with the war between Captain America and Iron Man and has other superheroes from the Marvel Universe.

With Mission Impossible 5, The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War in the pipeline, Jeremy Renner decided to back out of Thor 3: Ragnarok to keep his schedule from cramming and focus on the commitments he has at hand.

Thor 3 was set to release in June, 2017, but the Sony-Marvel Spider-Man release might push it to November, 2017.
