In other news related to Thor 3, Jeremy Renner, who was supposed to reprise his role of Hawk Eye in the film has backed out. It is believed that with Phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe coming up, Hawk Eye had his plate full and in order to avoid clashing of dates, Renner had to back out of the film.
Renner decided to star in Captain America: Civil War instead of Thor 3. This has disappointed a few fans since his character was first introduced in Thor.
