The Vampire Diaries Season 7: Enzo’s Story Revealed, Julie Plec Worried About The Fans, And More

With The Vampire Diaries Season 6 inching towards a finale, things are turning out to be sad for the fans of the show. News of Nina Dobrev leaving the show had just started to sink in when fans were hit with the news that this season is going to be the last one for Michael Trevino as well.

With Nina Dobrev leaving, it looks like Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will finally give Elena the cure.  Damon had received it from Bonnie (Kat Graham) when they went back to get Lily (Annie Wersching). Damon had always wanted the cure for Elena so that she can go back to leading a normal human life, and it looks like Season 6 finale will see Elena returning to normal human life.

Trevino’s Tyler Lockwood was a werewolf in Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries. Julie Plec, the executive producer of the show has said that though Tyler will be out working on other ventures, they will make sure that he continues being an integral part of the plot of The Vampire Diaries and might even come back later in the show.

With Season 6 coming to an end, the executive producers are already ready for The Vampire Diaries Season 7. The show must go on with the remaining cast of Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Candice Accola and Kat Graham. Fans are going to miss the other main characters played by Nina Dobrev and Michael Trevino, but they have to get used to their absence.

Fans are worried about the future of the popular series and in a Q&A with fans, Julie Plec answers queries. When fans asked why they are not removing bring characters like Enzo instead of removing Tyler and Elena, Plec said that the Augustine vampire, Enzo is anything but boring.
