As Cornell delves deeper into the family secrets, she is going to unravel facts that will completely shake her up. She will have to interact closely with the members of Kate and Eric’s family and she will completely be shaken up by what she discovers. Cornell also has to deal with her own personal life that involves her ex-husband and daughter.
Secrets and Lies Season 1 didn’t enjoy a very good rating. However, Carter Matt has reported that the network might be thinking of bringing it back since the rating improved with every episode and finally managed an average of 1.5 that is better than the one enjoyed by top series like Castle, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Once Upon a Time, Quantico, The Catch and Nashville.
The network is looking to bring in Secrets and Lies Season 2 since it wants it to reach its full potential and they feel that they can get something better off it from the second season.
There are some that feel that the reason for keeping it away from the summer lineup was because the network thought they will get a better result from Secrets and Lies if it was added to the fall lineup.
