The Start of Bitcoin Mining and Recent Cuts in Bitcoin Trading Fees by CEX.IO, And More Details!

Right now, CEX.io is offering 0% trading fees for a small period while it renews its focus on the Bitcoin exchange space. This follows the expansion of its GHash.io cloud mining contracts which took place earlier this year. The exchange, which presently charges a 0.2% static commission fee on all buying and selling transactions will cancel the trading fees for a one-week period. The process began from 25th March.

Communications officer at CEX.IO Helga Danova said that in order to make new features available for as many people possible, a service was opened up, and people are being invited to try out trading on CEX.IO with 0% fees. Keep in mind that the free trading will end on 1st April. The move was directed amidst a series of company-wide enhancements which includes measures aimed at heightening security. A Level 3 PCI DSS certificate was acquired by CEX.IO, according to Helga.

The certificate was issued in order to assist businesses in producing card payments securely and reduce fraud at the same time. In order to get the certificate, the company needs to introduce tight controls surrounding the storage, broadcast and processing of cardholders’ data. Talking about the exchange’s securities priorities, Danova declared that CEX.IO is approaching 400k users, and it is their priority to make the exchange more easy and secure to be used. New features are being launched in order to open the world of Bitcoins to crypto-field newcomers.
