The Sims 4: A Glance at The Latest DLC, New Patch Brings in New Interaction Prompts, PS4 and Xbox Versions Coming Soon, And More

It should be noted that in-game mods will be disabled temporarily after the patch is applied to the game. This has been done to avoid malfunctioning of mods after the patch application.

The mods feature can be manually re-enabled by players by heading to the Others tab under the Game Options menu. Under the Others tab players will have to check the Enable Custom Content and Mods option which will reactivate the mods once again.

A 64 bit executable for players using 64 bit Windows will also be introduced by the patch. Certain other issues like reactions of Sims to cheating and the Grim reaper will also be fixed by the patch.

EA Games has recently announced that a console version of The Sims 4 is likely to be introduced in the near future. The game was released in 2014 for PC and it is being assumed that it won’t be before the first quarter of 2016 that PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are finally released.

However, no specific release date for the console versions of the game has yet been announced by EA.
