The Macbook Air 2016 Will Feature A 5K Resolution Display, Other Reports Claim That the Air Lineup Will Not Be Upgraded!

Tech Radar further reported that the next generation would release sooner, and it will come with a larger 15-inch display. It has been three years since Apple last updated the MacBook Air model.

Therefore, it makes sense that a 2016 version will be coming soon. According to Macotakara, a Japanese blog site, MacBook Air 2016 will be releasing next month.

Ecumenical News reported that if a new version does come out, it will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. We have already seen that it is possible, thanks to the new MacBook variant. Besides having a bigger screen, it will include a 5k resolution as well.

The Air 2016 will include a long-lasting and better battery. Intel’s latest Skylake chipset will be powering this device while providing enhanced processing and performance.

As a result, you can see that there are several rumors and unconfirmed reports, predicting the launch of a new MacBook Air 2016 variant while many other sources say that the Air lineup has been scrapped already.

If Apple does release a new device, it will include a lot of new-generation improvements, along with various revolutionary features. For instance, an OLED touch display bar could replace the standard physical function keys of the MacBook Air 2016.
