The Amazing Spider Man 3 Set to Get a Marvel Treatment, End of The Garfield Run!

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is all set to return in a bigger and better manner with Sony and Marvel coming together. The wall-crawler will feature in a new avatar, with speculations that the plot and the characters set to get a complete makeover. The two studios are yet to reveal any information.

Marvel is in search of a new and younger Peter Parker, and it is a logical assumption that 31-year-old Andrew Garfield will not be reprising the role of the superhero in the upcoming films. Marvel Studio’s has hinted that their search for a younger Peter Parker is because they would like to feature him in other movies in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic University. Sources say that the new Spider-Man can be seen as early as the in Captain America: Civil War, slated to release in 2016 as per schedule.

No formal announcements have come across, but the wall-crawling super hero’s appearance does make sense in the third edition of the Captain American series. As per the comic books, Spider-Man plays a vital role in the Civil War. This would act as the perfect launch base for Spider-Man into the Marvel Universe of superheroes.

Marvel and Sony are out to look for an actor who can portray the character of the 15-year-old school kid Peter Parker and his Spidey Avatar with equal ease. Rumors pitted Dylan O’Brien from Teen Wolf with Logan Lerman from Perks of Being a Wallflower as top contenders for the new Spider-Man. This rumor was denied by O’Brien on BuzzFeed.

The comic book version of Civil War portrays Tony Stark aka Iron Man as the mentor of the young Spider-Man. Reports suggest that this will be the line in which the movie will be made. This seems like a different take on the same old over-done story of nerdy Peter Parker being bullied in school and then ending up being the super-hero. In addition to the interesting plot line, the story will also ensure that loyal Iron Man fans come as well thus helping the film become a success.
