The 2015 Toyota Sienna Creates New Benchmark for its Rivals, More Details

The 2015 Toyota Sienna is the only minivan available in the market today with all-wheel drive functionality. The Sienna is the most fun to drive MPV and stands out on its own! There was a time when minivans were a favorite mode of transport for families across the United States. However, in recent times, crossovers and SUVs seem to have overshadowed the “soccer-mom’s favorite ride”.

However, in terms of practicality and reliability nothing beats the minivan. Where else could you fit your entire family along with the monthly groceries and still have space for the extra crate of beer! Minivans are easier to handle within the city limits and are quite agile as compared to the larger SUVs.

To be honest, the minivan segment does not feature much competition at the moment, a few exceptions being the Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona and the Chrysler Town and Country. The 2015 Toyota Sienna is unlike a typical minivan. It is more of a cross-breed between an SUV and a family wagon.

The vehicle draws power from a six-cylinder, 3.5-liter dual variable VVT-i engine block, displacing a maximum of 266 BHP @ 6,200 RPM. The Toyota Sienna can effectively transport seven to eight passengers and can tow approximately 454 kilograms, making the Toyota Sienna one of the most reliable and efficient family car for most outdoor activities.

The Toyota Sienna comes in six variants, namely the Sienna LE FWD, SE FWD, Limited FWD, LE AWD and the XLE AWD. The vehicle further features creature comforts that can make any family could ask for! The list includes a navigation system, Blu-Ray Entertainment system, a sliding centre console and an audio system with steering-wheel mounted controls, etc.

The Sienna also features a 7-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, a JBL audio system, Entune app suite and climate control. The rear seats are quite comfortable and offer a lounge-like experience. The third row is flexible and can be folded for additional cargo space.
