This means that anyone can listen to the songs from that particular album and the artist doesn’t get paid anything. Taylor Swift had written an open letter to Apple, stating that she found this policy shocking and disappointing. Apple Music took note of her outcry and decided to offer her a remedy for the same.
Apple received similar complaints from indie labels and decided to pay the musicians and record companies loyalties for their music even during the three-month trial session.
