Experts are assuming that the re-release of Bayonetta 2 as a standalone title just ahead of the DLC launch for Super Smash Bros 4 will work towards increasing the character’s popularity among fans. This will ensure that the character is better accepted by fans when it is finally added to the roster of Super Smash Bros 4.
Apart from these characters, the expansion pack is expected to add new stages and soundtracks to Super Smash Bros 4. It has been confirmed that the DLC will be released in the upcoming month. However, the specific date on which the DLC will be launched is yet to be revealed by Nintendo.
A renowned website reported that Super Smash Bros 4 recently won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Video Game in 2015. Some of the other contenders for the award included the likes of Batman: Arkham Knight, Call of Duty: Advance Warfare, Minecraft, and Grand Theft Auto V.
The game has been a huge success since its release and it doesn’t look like its popularity among fans will cease anytime in the recent future. It has recorded more than 10 million sales units across the globe till date.
