Justice League: Part 1 will be out in the theatres on 17th November, 2017 and given the success of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, there is no doubt that DC Comic is on their winning streak. The first thing that the fans want to know is whether or not Lex Luthor is going to be a part of Justice League: Part 1.
When Christian Post tried to contact Jesse Eisenberg, who played the role of Lex Luthor in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, he said that he still didn’t know if the writers will go ahead with his character for the upcoming film. He said that he would be glad to work with the talented people once again and to get the scope to portray such an interesting character.
Zack Snyder, the director of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to be directing Justice League: Part 1. The way Jesse Eisenberg had portrayed the role of Lex Luthor has received mixed reviews from the audience.
While some say that he didn’t fit the role of the arch-enemy of Superman, others have praised him for the exceptional manner in which he has portrayed the character of the popular villain.
The character is known to have a complex persona. He has a public image where he is very charming and friendly, but there is a monster within him, which makes playing him so complex. Irrespective of the views that the audience have come forward with, Jesse Eisenberg is ready to play the character once again in Justice League: Part 1 if he is given the chance to do so.
Jesse Eisenberg is being very cryptic in his response and isn’t being very vocal about whether he will be a part of the upcoming film or not. There is a lot of scope for the character of Lex Luthor to be explored in the DC Cinematic Universe and the fans are dying to know if they are going to see more of the character in the coming films.
Cross Map has reported that Slash Film has reportedly informed that Jesse Eisenberg isn’t going to reprise the role of Lex Luthor in Justice League: Part 1.
Justice League: Part 1 will be filmed from 11th April and the title will see Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot coming in to reprise their roles from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film will also see Jason Momoa, from Game of Thrones play the role of Aquaman while Ray Fisher takes the role of Cyborg with Ezra Miller and Amber Heard playing the role of The Flash and Mera, respectively.
Zack Snyder who will be back in the helm of another DC Comic adaptation spoke to Entertainment Weekly and revealed that he wanted Batman aka Bruce Wayne to create the Justice League.
He said that with Superman around the whole thing would pan out differently. The two would come together to form a league and the other superheroes would come in and fill the spaces.
If Bruce Wayne has to go out and try and get the superheroes in to the Justice League, the whole premise becomes a lot more interesting. When Superman dies, it was Bruce Wayne who brought out the idea of forming a team of superheroes and as fans of the comic book will know, there is a hint that the hero with the red cape is still alive.
