Selena Gomez doesn’t mention Justin Bieber directly, but the fans can easily deduce that the song is about him. Mackey went on to say that most artists draw inspiration from their past and present relationships for their lyrics and music and Selena is no different.

Stevie Mackey has also cleared the rumors surrounding the title of the new track. There was a recent photo of Selena Gomez where she is seen reclining comfortably on the counter of a kitchen. The photo was titled Unbothered, which had fans speculate that it was a hint about the supposed title of the upcoming track.

Mackey said that the title isn’t going to be Unbothered and that he mentioned that caption because she looked so blissfully happy and content and it was his way of expressing his love.
