A number of rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy S8 have been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time. Apparently, Samsung has already started the development process of the Galaxy S8. Chances are that it will be rolled out to the market during the oncoming year.
Most of the Samsung flagship devices come with quad-HD displays, however, rumors have it that the Galaxy S8 will be rocking a 4K Ultra HD display. If indeed Samsung builds the device with 4K resolution, it will be first ever device to be built with the 4K technology.

It was a clear indication that Samsung has already started working on the 4K technology and it might find usage in the upcoming Galaxy S8. If the Galaxy S8 arrives with the rumored 4K resolution display, the device will be miles ahead of the rest of the smartphones in its class.
The 4K Ultra HD displays that were showed off by Samsung at the aforementioned event was for both VR and smartphones. Apparently, the company has managed to come up with a new technology which has been titled- Bio Blue.
This technology has the capability of bringing down the blue light levels to as low as 6 percent. It should be mentioned here that other kinds of displays can reduce the blue light levels up to 32 percent. This new technology will reportedly work towards bringing about a massive improvement in displays.
Some previous rumors indicated that the 4K Ultra HD technology would be used in the Samsung Galaxy S7 lineup. However, the latest reports suggest that it will actually be used in the upcoming Galaxy S8 lineup.
An AMOLED display with a resolution of 2840 x 2160 pixels is used in the 4K Ultra HD technology. The display will come with a pixel density of 806 pixels per inch.
If indeed this technology is incorporated into the Galaxy S8, it will become usable for viewing ultra-high quality content in virtual reality using Samsung’s own Gear VR. Samsung will start developing the 4K displays on a large scale within the oncoming few months.
Samsung has been constantly bringing about improvements in the display of its smartphones over time. It was seen in the case Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5, both the devices came with Full HD Displays. As for the other technical aspects of the device, the Samsung Galaxy S8 might arrive with a Snapdragon 830 processor from the house of Qualcomm under its hood. The processor will likely be accompanied with 6GB of RAM.
The new 10nm 6GB DRAM design has already been developed by Samsung and it will most likely find usage in the upcoming Galaxy S8. Also to be included in the device is a dedicated GPU for handling the graphics department.
The Snapdragon 830 processor will bring about a major improvement in its overall performance compared to its predecessors. The device will be snappier and will handle heavy multitasking with ease.
While speaking about the upcoming device and the incorporation of the Snapdragon 830 processor in it WCCF tech stated that it will provide the device with critical performance upgrades. It was stated– “These range from 4Kx2K recording, support for LPDDR4X memory, increased clock speeds for the Kryo cores and improved basebands.”
