Rihanna’s Former Residence Bought by John Legend and Wife, Analysis Reveals Rihanna Is the Most Marketable Celebrity!

Rihanna’s $14.1 million former residence at Beverly Hills Post Office area has been bought by John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. The R&B legend who has his first baby on its way decided to buy the condo with his swimsuit model wife.

Thanks to digital marketing tools, fans can get an idea of how Rihanna’s house looked. The house is three-storied and is located on a flat ground, overlooking the canyon. The distant ocean and mountains are clearly visible.

There are five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a mini theatre and gymnasium in the 8.520 square feet house that also boasts of a patio and a swimming pool.

Rihanna had bought the house when she was just 21 years old and had seen success after her song Umbrella broke all records. She moved in to the house in 2009 after paying $6.9 million. However, her joy of having acquired a beautiful new house went into the drains when the property flooded after a rainstorm.

Rihanna immediately vacated the home after there was a lot of joke at her exorbitant expense on the house and filed law suits on everyone, starting from the seller of the house to the real estate agent to the inspection firm.

Rihanna won a $10 million settlement against the accountant who had advised her to invest in the property even though she had a financial constraint.

The property was worked upon and it was back in the real estate market in 2011. It was priced at $4.5 million, but fetched a higher amount of $5.03 million. The property kept coming back and going off the market from 2013 onwards.

The price rocketed after the house was given a face-lift and it was finally purchased as the home where John Legend and Chrissy Teigen would start their new life.

Apart from the flooding problem, there hasn’t been any report from the house. The house is very spacious with a 30-foot ceiling and has huge expanses of windows and glass paneling. The living room has a wall to wall glass panel that opens into the swimming pool. The property listing includes the permit for an infinity pool in the residence, but Variety reported that there is no way to confirm if John Legend has purchased it.

John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen are known for their real estate properties. The two just sold their remodeled 60s mansion that was located in Cahuenga Pass in Hollywood Hills for $2,000,000. This home was featured in the Architectural Digest and so did their New York property, which is currently in the market with a price of $3.995 million.

Independent reported that John Legend and his wife are working on getting the house ready before the birth of their baby. They said that the work is already on and they hope that the house is done right on time.

Legend said that even if all the work isn’t ready, they will at least be living in a home that will be 90% ready for the new baby. The couple is expecting their first baby around March-April and hopefully the work on their new home will be done by that time.

Chrissy Teigen informed Independent that she wasn’t present at the Golden Globe Award this year because she was busy with the shifting of homes and was relaxing at home while having donuts instead of dressing up and walking down the red carpet.

A survey conducted by The NPD Group revealed that Rihanna is the most marketable celebrity in the current times. The singer has left behind Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé, Stephen Curry and Tim McGraw to bag this title.
